Stools

We make both woven top and solid top stools.  The parts are all made using hand tools and traditional methods.  For a woven top stool, danish cord is used to create a patterned seat.  For a solid top stool, a piece of timber is selected according to your wishes, and the legs attached using wedged, through mortise and tenon joints. 

 

These styles are both customisable in terms of dimensions (e.g. foot stool or sitting stool), wood species and number of legs for a solid top stool (i.e. 3 or 4).
